STOPPED NEW TRACT HOUSE DEVELOPEMENT ALONG FAIRVIEW CORRIDOR
Successfully voted down another subdivision which promised 140+ more homes on the east side of Fairview. This development would have exacerbated our traffic and road maintenance problems while replacing our beautiful rural land with more houses.
INCREASED LITTERING & ILLEGAL DUMPING FINES
Spearheaded effort to substantially increase our littering & illegal dumping fines. The minimum fine was raised from $100 to $2500.
FOUGHT AGAISNT WASTING COUNTY FUNDS TO REMOVE ROCK STATUES IN FRONT OF COUNTY BUILDING
Successfully led the fight against wasting tens of thousands of dollars to remove insignificant controversial public art. Argued our time and money was better spent on more important issues.
INVESTED IN SHERRIF'S OFFICE EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
Supported a huge investment backing our law enforcement. Equipping our Sherriff's office with the tools they need to cultivate a safer community.
ADDED FOUR NEW ROAD CREW POSITONS
Added four new road crew positions to our budget in effort to speed up our efforts to fix county roads. Below is a map detailing our current scheduale of road re-construction over the next few years.
HOMELESS CAMPING BAN
Brought to the board of supervisors the suggestion of authorizing a ban on camping in certain public spaces. Currently we are in the process bringing this back to the board for official implementation.
GENERAL PLAN AMMENDMENT
Supported an amendment to the county general plan with an emphasis on preserving prime farmland and reducing our sprawl development.
